Airway – Nearly 20 airports in a small country like Nepal speaks of the volume of air traffic. Frequent flights and support a large traffic and at a very low cost compared the neighbouring states. Tribhuvan international Airport at Kathmandu has air connectivity with Vienna, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Doha, Dubai, Dhaka, Bangkok, Hong Kong etc. Bangalore, Calcutta, Varanasi, New Delhi, Mumbai, etc in India is well connected on regular basis. Roadway – Road ways are decent and are quite motor able and there is a very well connected to most of the tourist destinations. Road network covers nearly over 8500 kilometers linking all the major tourist destinations of the country and with Tibet, China, Bhutan and India. Government and private vehicle service is available. Railways – The Himalayan Kingdom do not have the railway system. There is one stretch of 59 kilometer railway line in the south of the country. Most of the bordering towns have links with Indian railway. Two stretches of railway are Raxaul in India to Amlekhganj in Nepal and the other is Raxaul in India to Janakpur in Nepal in operation now. Naxalbari in Indian state of West Bengal also links through Kakarvitta via Siliguri.
